To
view the demo you have to use Internet Explorer and then may
have to load the MPEG-4 Codec. It will automatically prompt you
to run it a few seconds after the page loads. Simply click
"Run" and when it is loaded the DVR interface and
video will appear.
If
no video appears and you are not prompted to install a codec,
you either are not using Internet Explorer, or if you are you'll
need to go to Tools / Internet Options / Security / Advanced or
Custom Level and temporarily set all of the ActiveX control to
"ENABLE" or "PROMPT". After the installation
is complete (30 seconds or so) you can then return them to their
previous settings.
If
you wish to use the Search function, you will have to load a
second codec. It also will automatically ask you to run it after
you press the Search button. Simply click "Run". Then
you can search and play back video from any date in red on the
calendar..
You
only have to load the codecs once per computer, and from then on
you only have to enter the IP Address of your DVR.
Note:
Camera #1 is an Infrared Camera. This room is totally dark, as
seen by camera #6, which is a normal high resolution camera on
the opposite side of the same room. An infrared camera allows
you to see in total darkness when other cameras can't.
You
must use Internet Explorer to see the demo of the DVR. It
does not work with Netscape, Firefox or Opera.
